What's green, delicious, and in mah belly?

Lettuce!

We're having it tossed with sauteed tofu, a little cheese (that perfectly melted onto the tofu), and, of course, a little ranch dressing. I don't even mind sharing with the aphids, because my two (just 2!!) rows of Black Seeded Simpson just keep giving and giving and giving.

Life is tasty, this fine May evening.

May the crunch be with you.

Now that is a thing of beauty! A big bowl of crunchy leaves so fresh they are still processing sunlight is a good thing!

Congrats. :)

Kelsie,

Your lettuce is beautiful. I'm questioning you're hydrangea assessment though. The plant looks/feels a bit too wild to be a hydrangea. And the flowers are narrow. Are there other varieties of hydrangea I dont know about??!

The leaves are definitely hydrangea-esque. Perhaps you could send a picture of the whole plant? :)

I don't get the chance to read much, but I do look at all the pics. Your eden is beautiful! Wish my thumb wasn't so yellow.
